Bad: Come home to walk the dog... find the nanny tied up...

    ...and all the jewelry gone.

But why, if you have a nanny, do you have to come home to walk the dog? Couldn't she let it out into the yard? Couldn't she walk the dog while taking the baby out in the stroller?

    Anyway... story here
    Rats!
    It could be worse!

    Walking the dog? Hmmm....

OK, actually the story says she's a housekeeper, which makes more sense...

Probably depends on the work rules negotiated by the nanny's union. Don't want to take work away from the dog walkers' union.

Perhaps there is more to this story...

Perhaps he went home to walk the dog *with* the nanny, wink, wink...

And why would a nanny be around with the kids gone?

I think it was an inside job. The housekeeper knows what kind of valuables are in the house, she tells her (insert male friend or family member) and they plan a "home invasion" where she ends up tied up just to make the whole thing more authentic. There was a similar planned heist in Arizona where a house full of elderly people was going to be victimized by their nurse and her homeboys, but luckily someone tipped of the police and they were all waiting in the house when her and her POS buddies came in.

Perhaps he was in the throws of action with the nanny and had her tied up and the wife came home...had to make up a cover story on the fly. "Yeah, I came home to walk the dog and found her tied up, yeah, that's it...and your jewelry was gone, yeah, better get out and call the police, hurry!"

Two buddies went to play raquet ball one Saturday and when they were in the locker room one notice that his buddy was wearing pink womens underwear. He said, "What the heck, Jim??? When did you start wearing women's underwear?" and Jim replied, "When my wife found them in the glove box of my truck."
