I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it.
Another black eye. Thanks moron. If evidence supports the news report, shooter will be off the streets for a long time.

A piece of work, this guy. Apparently executing a person for "daring" to offer a product for sale ... and the exchange was witnessed by others. Standing his ground by defending his publicly-accessible driveway to casual visitors, his amazingly-fragile ego, or his hatred of beef. Murderer, by any other name, methinks.
Good night, Alice.
What the hell is wrong with people? I'm not a fan of solicitors but this poor guy was just doing his job, and if the facts of this story are as they have been reported then this jackhole should never see the other side of a prison fence again - you know for "effect". And the fact that the guy said that makes me sick. Sounds like he's not stable enough to own crayons, never mind firearms.

As if passing yet another law will make murder even more illegal. A shooting that callus deserves the most extreme punishment.Every so often when tragedy strikes involving a gun, gun rights become popular in politics. The left talks about tackling gun violence, while the right-wing cling to their guns and Second Amendment. Taking away guns from people is not the answer, but passing common sense gun legislation does make sense to most Americans. The problem with guns and gun rights in politics is that with the NRA and the conservative agenda of fear working overtime, any talk about limiting access to firearms, even to those who might be mentality unstable, is a political non-starter.
When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk.

Mass murder Aurora, this idiot, guy shoots at car in road rage incident in FL all make CNN and this thread will go about 2 pages. But some idiot exercising his rights OC'ing in GA gets 10 pages of posts (about half pro/half con) becasue somehow we feel that THAT guy is a threat and bad example for gun owners......I don't get it. The OC'ers, even seeking 15 minutes of You tube fame don't even put a dent in our cause. JMO
Wow... shooting and killing a door to door steak salesman.
Ignorance is sure raring it's ugly head these days.
Don't believe what you hear and only half of what you see!

He pulled a gun on a meter reader years ago and frequently called the police complaining about kids on bikes. His neighbors apparently considered him a "time bomb" He sounds like a real piece of work.
