Glad the homeowner was prepared to defend himself and his home. Too bad one got away.

Looks like one decided he wanted to get himself stamped for later positive identification.

This could have gone BAD after being shot twice he was able to run out get in his car and drive off,if he had a knife or gun he could have attacked and seriously injured or killed the homeowner.
I believe in a lot of cases the Victims aren't prepared to take anyone down at gun point and appear nervous and somewhat uncertain which the BG's will sense,It might help if you and a few friends practice with non guns on ordering somebody on the ground and keeping them there with verbal Commands.
    GET ON THE GROUND
EXTEND YOUR ARMS OUT FROM YOUR BODY PALMS UP
LIFT AND CROSS YOUR LEGS AT THE ANKLES
TURN YOUR HEAD TO THE LEFT OR RIGHT (away from where they can see you and then move from where you were so ifthey do try to pull sumpin funny your not where they think you are)
    DONT %$#@^&% MOVE

The reason for palms up is to see they are empty, and they have to flip them over before they can push up giving you time to react.Crossed legs same thing it gives you a second or two to react
