Sometimes the bad guys carry unloaded or toy weapons (thinking it goes better for them if caught, which is questionable). Don't know in this case, but it at least appears the BG was not ready to shoot. Does busting a cap in his a** teach him any lessons? Might not be the ones we want.

It will be interesting if more details come out. This is a well lit parking lot. Did the BG jump out of a car with the shotgun? It would be hard to miss a guy walking around with a SG.I will stay tuned if more details are aired.

This is why I practice practice practice, probably within 5 feet and he hit him in the hip,IMHO he almost missed.I will guarantee that most people that get a permit never visit a range again until they have to requalify if necessary

I'd say that this dirtbag was a slow learner.

He also had two outstanding warrants for burglary and another for a second aggravated robbery.

Officers also discovered the vehicle the robber was driving had been reported stolen.

I agree. I know plenty of those people. And I've shot with some of them--scary! I'm not saying I'm a gunfighter, but I DO practice, and take some form of training at least once a year. Get to the range at least 2-3 imes a month WITH my carry weapon. And I also shoot IDPA (lots of fun).

    WoW!!

Confronted with a shottie, I don't know if I would only pull the trigger one time.

Can't say that I wouldn't only take one shot but I'm thinking I'd be scared crapless.
