RE enviro laws: If I were enforcing a law against guys dumping truckloads of toxic waste who get paid lots of cash under the table and facing many years in the pen and huge fines for doing so, I'd want my own weapon and a bunch of other armed people with me as well.

Maybe there should be a specific area for this kinda stuff that isn't included in the "new posts" search - you have to specifically go to the area to participate.

I've already made my feelings known on that article, but it bears repeating.

It is the biggest pile of steaming manure I have seen written about firearms and, specifically, ammunition, that I have seen in a LONG time. Incredibly misleading, intentionally fear mongering, and full of BLATANT falsehoods, I was disgusted to my core that THAT imbecile scumbag (wait until I tell you how I REALLY feel) supposedly is on the "pro" 2A side. His diarrhetic tirade against "super deadly evil 'hollow points,' and .357 ammo that could 'shoot through walls'" made me want to crawl through the screen and choke the stupid out of him.

I hope he gets bit by a rabid squirrel.

ETA: It wasn't even the weather service.... A squirrel. I'm telling you.
A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.

It's ok for them to stock-up, but not ok if we do! What the hell!

And what would they do? Shoot holes in the clouds to end the drought?

I read the article earlier today, just cannot comprehend this purchase. The anti-firearm bias is nauseating.

Due to a clerical error in the federal business vendor process, a solicitation for ammunition and targets for the NOAA Fisheries Office of Law Enforcement mistakenly identified NOAA’s National Weather Service as the requesting office. The error is being fixed and will soon appear correctly in the electronic federal bidding system. The ammunition is standard issue for many law enforcement agencies and it will be used by 63 NOAA enforcement agents in their twice annual target qualifications and training.

I guess it's time to get tough. Instead of just chasing storms, they are going to TAKE THEM OUT!!!!

Exactly! We all should read the order closely. They are the experts in weather, so they'll set the standard for the best round to take down a tornado.

It's well know that the 'Weathermen' are into violence. Next they will be buying explosives again.

Social Security Administration ammo shopping now too!!!

» Social Security Administration To Purchase 174 Thousand Rounds Of Hollow Point Bullets Alex Jones' Infowars: There's a war on for your mind!

"It’s not outlandish to suggest that the Social Security Administration is purchasing the bullets as part of preparations for civil unrest. Social security welfare is estimated to keep around 40 per cent of senior citizens out of poverty. Should the tap run dry in the aftermath of an economic collapse which the Federal Reserve has already told top banks to prepare for, domestic disorder could ensue if people are refused their benefits."

Already running, twice. And still complete BS.
