...from school, after her "run". Jumped in the shower... The doorbell rang. But she didn't answer... Then she heard glass breaking... But the dogs were going nuts...

Whew! No harm, no foul. Just a little glass replacement...

That young lady needs access to the home firearms and training in using them if she is going to continue to be home alone. The scum bag has now read about the fact she was there during his attempted breakin and he may return for more than a home burglary.

same thing happen to my wife while i was at work, 3 hispanic males knocking on the front door. She didn't answer it, she got on the phone with me and I told her to dial 911. While on the phone with the operator they burst through the back door. They heard her yelled an ran off.

Yes, certainly is good of the press to report the whole story... and provide a map to a house with a broken door and a nice 16year old...

I wonder if the dogs went through the broken door in pursuit.

I've got to get me some of these el cheapo glass break stick on alarms. I bet most amateur burglars would scatter like cockroaches when those things go off.
