ugly-CAL gets another black eye in cop abusing a suspect-video
Surveillance footage taken outside a Maryland convenience store appears to show a flash of light as a police officer with a loaded gun pistol-whips an unsuspecting man.
What is up in California with all the LEO abuse charges? You would thing after Rodney King they would clean up but this is "one” of a number of incidents that has shown up lately
edit: this is maryland and not Cal.... my goof....I looked up the town and it said it was a sub div of LA

Am I missing something? What does an incident filmed in Prince George's County Maryland have to do with California cops?

You're forgiven my son. Now go and sin no more.

The only California connection is that Maryland is the state that dumped Nancy Pelosi on us.
This is the part where people in ghetto states line up and regurgitate what their uncle-father said about California 45 years ago.
I don't always have nothing to say, but when I do, I post it on Facebook.

You know how it is; it's Friday and most of the staff called in sick and the proof reader in on a two week bereavement leave

Following link from Feb 4th offers more information.
Brentwood police-involved shooting: Corporal Donald Taylor suspended | WJLA.com
A police report said that Ryan Dorm swung at an officer and began to flee. The officer caught the man after a brief foot pursuit. The man then tried to reach for the officer's gun. Fearing that the man was trying to take his gun, the officer fired his gun at the man.
There may have been a foot pursuit before they got into camera range like the officer claims, I don't know. The last part of what the officer reported as happening is not supported by what the film shows.

I will make no comments outside of the courtroom.
That is the appropriate place to explain whats on the tape and what led up to it.
Does what led up to it matter? The man was not resisting at the time should be all that matters.

I assume there are more cops and a larger media presence in California than any other state. It's like Florida and New York combined.

Title of the thread is incorrect. This happened in Prince George's County Maryland.

No matter what happened off camera, there are probably no extenuating circumstances that will prevent this cop from going on to the fast-paced and exciting world of mall security.
I don't always have nothing to say, but when I do, I post it on Facebook.
