I wonder if it was one of those High Standard derringers that we're pretty popular in the 70's? I have one, they are well built, just wish mine was .22 magnum. Well I guess it doesn't really matter now, doubtful I'll ever CC it.

One problem with mouse guns is the fact they have almost no sight radius,unless you practice with one at more than bad breath distances you can miss big time,especially when your adrenaline is going thru the roof and your cocking the hammer and jerking the trigger,then add night time.The fact she fired shots scared the BG off,but those rounds went somewhere.If your gonna carry a gun fior SD then practice with it,if you can't hit nothing with it ,then get a gun you can hit what your shooting at
