Guys in wheelchairs can develop enormous arm strength (if this wasn't an electric), being in a wheelchair would protect most of his back/side from a tazer, the officer that shot was not the officer being threatened. He saw his partner being threatened and a person can be fatally stabbed with a pen as well as a knife/icepick.

If the man in the wheelchair was in enough of a position that the officer felt threatened, then the he was also in enough of a position to be easily shot with a taser.

A person can be fatally stabbed with a pen (and obviously with a knife), but when there are two officers against one man with half his limbs and confined to a wheelchair, I fail to see how they could not possibly contain him.

    You're joking, right?

Ask yourself this: Do you honestly think for one second that had it been you with your legally concealed weapon and you shot and killed a DOUBLE AMPUTEE in a WHEELCHAIR because you felt "threatened", that you would not be sitting behind bars right now facing murder charges with the media and the general public making you out to be Satan himself??

But LEO does it and it must have been justified because after all, guys in wheelchairs can develop enormous arm strength.

It would be unjustified due to all the civilians training, OH wait Scratch that LEOs are the ones with all the training.

A regular citizen would most definitely be crucified even if the wheelchair guy was armed with an actual knife. IMO it is no where near fair but it is the way it is.
Everyone has an opinion & this is just mine sorry if it offends anyone.
ALSO I don't HATE LEOs I just Hold them to a Higher Standard of the LAW & nothing anyone says will change my opinion on this

And to prevent jumping to conclusions because of a news article, this one is closed to prevent further degradation of the subject.
