Makes me wonder. Is smoking also going to be allowed? It would be like Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms minus all the red tape.

    From the Article:
""We don't need drunk people running around in and out of the neighborhood," Hart said."

Yes, that's what's going to happen. Drunk people are going to start running around in and out of the neighborhood.

So what's wrong with a drink when the shooting day's done?

The bigger problem I see is the homeowners who build next to a gun range and then complain, like buying a house by the airport and complaining about noisy airplanes. The alcohol is going to be the least of the range's issues.

No different then here in WI.

I go to local gun clubs on trap night and the beer flows like its Oktoberfest. Having a beer while shooting is not a crime. Getting drunk is irresponsible.

Guns......good. Alcohol.....good. But not together. Mixing the two is inviting disaster.

I'll pass on shooting next to someone who smells like alcohol.

Sorry, guns and alcohol do not mix. I'll pass on shooting around anyone drinking and shooting.

Unless I am mistaken it is set up where if you are going to shoot you have to do it first.

Is this what you call "shooting the breeze" over a beer?

I'm OK with allowing drinking while the guns are locked up, and not allowing anyone who has been drinking into the range. I'm not OK with mixing the two, though.

They should have the bar area separated from the range area by two doors. When you enter the bar, your hand is stamped with a UV stamp. The door from the range closes and cannot be opened from the bar. The door from the bar leads to outside. Anyone entering the range has their hand checked under UV - if it's stamped, no entry.

"Customers will have to order a drink with their identification card and once the card is accepted, and flagged, they cannot be checked back into the range that day
I swear to god some of you guys are as big of pantie wetters as the liberals; you act like they'll have waitresses bringing beer out to the firing line
