Seeing this reminded me to do a security check on my parents... my dad keeps his rifle and handgun in a closet... the problem... that closet is right next to the front door.
I had to explain to him that he needs one or both, closer to him, and in a place he can easily get to.
If someone kicked in their front door, they'd be SOL. And home invasion roberies are on the rise in Port Arthur and Groves.
