Might want to check out the current events over in the Congo, Zimbabwe and other African nations.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^Yes there are cases of genocide^^^^^^^^^^^

going on in various nations there, but for the most part, were it not for those extenuating circumstances, the people there would live a relatively peaceful life.

Seeing this reminded me to do a security check on my parents... my dad keeps his rifle and handgun in a closet... the problem... that closet is right next to the front door.

I had to explain to him that he needs one or both, closer to him, and in a place he can easily get to.

If someone kicked in their front door, they'd be SOL. And home invasion roberies are on the rise in Port Arthur and Groves.
