Story here
Does this belong here, "In the news"?
I dunno... But it's such a tragic shame... and it involves guns and a young man needing a father in his life, apparently... someone who would have taken him fishing and hunting... and cared for him....
I dunno... it's so incredibly sad

Good lord. What a sick, messed up kid.
I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it.

That story just ruined my day.
No trees were harmed in the construction of this post. However a large number of electrons were indiscriminately aroused.

Some people have their wires mixed up. Jeffery Dahmer was a nice kid too. This won't be the last.

We should reconsider the "no capitol punishment" for 17 year olds. This waste of a person needs to be put down.

Very true. Not everyone shows obvious signs that might be noticed prior to their actions.

Some people are just sick.

Not to hijack.........but some months ago we had a young fell here in town just out of the blue drive over to a jewelry store....walk in and kill the owner while also shooting at his daughter while she fled the store.....no hold up or nothin'.....he then put the gun a 357 mag under his chin and missed...blowing off part of his face and chin.....he then according to security film took out a knife a tried to cut his own throat to no avail.....finally he shot himself again and finished the job before police arrived......the reason for my telling this is......Same Outcome....."Everything Went Wrong".
Not a robbery....just picked a store and went in, much like the fact of this fella just killing his sister and mother.....no explanation other than maybe depression or drugs.

Makes me sick to my stomach. I'm really kind of shocked that they put that 911 call online, and excerpts from the conversation in the article. It's just horrifyingly disturbing at every level.

The fourth estate today... If it bleeds, it leads...
Shame that...
and really, shame on me, for posting it... but once I read it... I had to share the pain... to splint it... to get some compassion... it is disheartening...

Oh, and BTW...
The dispatcher keeps the teen on the line until deputies arrive at his home to take him into custody -–
about 25 minutes.
Well, if they weren't dead when he was done with them... they certainly were by the time help arrived...

Disclaimer:
My opinion shouldn't be taken seriously due to the fact that I've been shooting guns for over 30 years and have only recently been active on gun forums, where all the real world knowledge apparently is.
