It amazes and even amuses me in a sick sort of was how the friends and family of the young men want to blame a person who according to reports was only defending himself. But then again we have many on this forum who, if the attackers were dogs, would be screaming that the person with the knife acted to quickly. That the dog wasn't raised to act aggressively.
If the facts presented in the article are true I have no problem with how the person chose to protect himself from being harmed. Doesn't matter to me who or what the treat was.
Got what they deserved.

I think this is hilarious! Ol DeAndre may have said he wanted to beat someone up, but what he should have said is; I'm tired of living, it's time to pay for my sins...So when DeAndre and his gang of eight to 10 left the parking lot in a Meriden mall just a few weeks ago – soon after the park beat-down – he was confident little could go wrong when he told his friends he wanted to “beat someone up.”

I automatically don't trust WND.com because they're about as biased as you can get, but good on the guy if it's all true.
Here's a link to the police investigation report. From the investigation, it appears the intended victim was jumped from behind and defended himself. http://media2.wtnh.com/_local/docume...oct-3-2012.pdf

I'm surprised noone has said this yet. It looks like another failure in the victim selection process.

You mean the BGs weren't good boys trying to turn their lives around, working 3 jobs to support the family, churchgoing and volunteers at the local food bank, etc, etc. Good riddance!!!!
Thread title failure. When did two people become a mob?
