Gun Industry Thriving Despite Dire Warnings of a Crackdown

In today's paper. I wish I would've had the sense to open a gun shop/store 4 years ago....

"Since opening a $5 million armory in Nashville last month, Manookian and his business partner have outdone their own expectations, selling inventory three to four times faster than they expected. The facility has high ceilings and granite fixtures in the bathroom and provides instructional courses and a shooting range in addition to firearms for sale"

Headline should be "gun industry thriving due to crackdown warnings" ;)

You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, "I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along." . . . You must do the thing you think you cannot do. Eleanor Roosevelt

The only thing that the current administration is good for is selling guns.

That article has so much rhetoric in it that it makes it entertaining to observe how the other side "thinks".

The comment section below the article you referenced is worth a read too! There is some steam coming out from a few ears, in a pro-positive way. Thanks for the link to even mine out.

It amazes me that people don't understand how to problem solve. In my job we look at parado charts to drive work. The largest problem has the most effect when solved. In 2010 there were 32,885 deaths in motor vehicles. Yet that same year there were only 8775 murders caused by firearms(spent a whole 20 seconds with google to find these numbers so if you have more accurate the please let me know). In my job I would be looking to solve the deaths in motor vehicles and ignoring the murders by firearms. Strange how nobody is calling to have more vehicle control. Not to mention all the government regulations on motor vehicles and still there are that many deaths a year. Just another example of how well regulations work. Ever wonder why a car now costs $30,000? Look up the FMVSS requirements.

Nice to see all those counter arguments, but we all know logic is not the strong suit of the Antis.
