..... and those Old Guard's would whoop Bloomburg AND the Brady Bunchs butts if they started protesting their guns at the tomb of the unknowns.

I think I'm missing something, Has Blomberg protested the guards having rifles? I know he's a rabid anti, but I'm a little slow connecting these two things together.

Whew, so it's not just me! I'm pretty sure the Bloombergs and Brady's of the world have no objection to armed guards at Arlington.

Seems to me that reminding visitors to be respectful at such hallowed ground is to be expected, easily understood (even by Brady Bunch), and shouldn't cause any issues even if such visitors happen to be carrying (though, I'm assuming the facility's considered federal and thus off-limits to carry by the unwashed).

I wonder if the one woman was sitting because of a disability. I know when my back gives out, there's not waiting till later to sit and take the strain off.

Maybe he was pointing out that they had weapons and were yelling at folks without using them? That’s the only correlation I can make...

May I be so humbly impolite, as an Airborne Marine, to remind people here that there is a well respected code of silence for 'the guard', and that some members/contributors here may (and do) have 'that Honor' of being of that specific breed, and they may not respond 'in cord' to any ignorant comments.

To you Army heathen of 'The Guard', I salute you! RESPECT!

When I was 'in the game', if something bad happened, my paperwork pointed me to be there...... Well, thank god nothing fatially bad happened. I have cat lives...................

Hoo, Ahh! from a Marine, and Semper Fi!
