What's convenient is the prison is located right in Green Bay. The victim is lucky that is all that happened.

Yeah ... like that will ever happen.
Sentencing to the full/max amount would be a good start, if we're going to hope to put a halt to such things. That, and stiff "Castle" protections, tough two/three felony strikes handling of repeat violent felons, etc.

120 year with no parole would be a better choice.
