I didn't know D-Bo became a LEO.
I really have a hard time understanding the people who do this. Really is $3k enough to risk flushing your career over?
Sometimes Opportunity can test even the most upright Citizens if they are having some hard financial times,He would have been better off getting a part time job than trying to rip off a dead guy and thinking the cash wouldn't be noticed if he turned in the Jewelry
There are desperate people in every profession/career/job in the world. There are those who aren't desperate as well... and do the wrong thing just 'cause they can.
Hard to imagine someone throwing a career away.. But these are odd times we're living in.
Temptation is the same for everyone, standards are not.
LEO's are exactly the same as all of us - most r good, but some r bad...............
And VP of the policemans' union at that. Imagine that. Jimmy is alive and well.
Hard to fathom someone who had 18 years in doing this type of thing. I also would think that risking getting caught and placed in the same location where you may have placed some not-so-upstanding citizens would make one have greater incentive to not do it. But people do stupid things all of the time and quite a few of them make you sit and scratch your head wondering, "why?"
But man, 18 years, union VP, this guy couldn't be too far from retirement. Now he has to resign. What a stupid thing to do. Unless of course, this isn't the first time and he has been doing it all along, he just finally got caught. I'll bet IA takes a look at some of his previous cases now. This could blow up real big.
A month's pay for 18 years of work?
Hard to understand...:banghead:
