I get writing to the network and the NFL, it feels good, but does anybody have a complete list of advertisers for last night's game? Writing to the advertisers explaining why you will not but their product is far more likely to give the result we want.

Since we're forced to watch the Carolina Panthers each week, tuning off the NFL wouldn't be hard at all.

Are you kidding me? NFL Anti-gun crap?

Will he want to ban rope when someone hangs themselves? Ban razor blades when a self mutilator goes too far? People need to mind their own business.

Well, it's gone viral, and y .02 worth comes up to this:

Costas is gonna love the attention he gets today.
Wouldn't be surprised if he goes after the "gun nuts" for their reactions.

    Guys like him are predictable...

Go to nfl.com and go to the bottom of the page, hit contact us and fire off a e-mail to them like I just did. I kept it civil and just voiced my displeasure and lack of respect for bob.

He shot his girlfriend 9 times. Do you think that he might have had some anger issues? Steroid use possibly?
Rush Limbaugh stood up for handgun ownership on the radio today. That was nice to hear.

I can't believe costas last night too. These SPORTS WRITERS/ANNOUNCERS are less than news casters/journalists (whom are awfully low themselves). Why should anyone give a ***** what Costas has to say about gun ownership? You're paid to tell us what brainless athletes are doing with a ball on a field.

    Enough about Rush Limbaugh.

Who among you thinks anybody's position on gun control will change due to what a talking head said on TV in the wake of another idiot shooting somebody or committing suicide?

Thanks for the address R&G... I heard this on the way to work this morning, a complete moron pontificating on his personal views.

It's one more thing setting the ground work to [attempt] to create an anti-gun public. Just as MTV, mainstream news, hollywood stars, movies have long worked at a PR campaign of making conservatives look bad to the point where if you ask a non-political person that doesn't follow news, "what party is evil", their knee-jerk reaction is "republicans". This one instance won't do much, no, but if they continue to do so it can have an effect.
