Love him or hate him, Limbaugh nailed it too.

HAHAhhahahaa...... That WAS a good 'un.

Here's Costas's response today. It looks to me like he is partly blaming his audience for mis-interpreting his failure to completely flesh out what he was trying to say....
Costas: "Mistake" To Give Anti-Gun Commentary During Football Game | RealClearPolitics
I think we correctly interpreted just exactly what he had to say.
I'm just grateful that the rabid hold that pro football once had on me was eternally demolished as a result of the '82 football strike. Don't watch it any more. Don't miss it a bit. Avoiding nitwit announcers and commentators is a nice bonus apparently.
Never heard of Bob Costa until this story first broke. Don't want to know any more about him either.

I think Costas used a half page to say "I should have said more, and I meant every word of it." That has to be the lamest explanation of a journalistic faux-pas I have ever seen.
Costas needs to hire Obama's speechwriters. They are much better at covering up "misspeaks."
"If you make something idiot proof, someone will make a better idiot."

He essentially says his commentary was too nuanced for us troglodyte masses to understand. He just insulted us again!
I'd rather be lucky than good any day
There's nothing that will change someone's moral outlook quicker than cash in large sums.
Majority rule only works if you're also considering individual rights. Because you can't have five wolves and one sheep voting on what to have for supper.
...And so I saw what Jason Whitlock had written and a portion of what he wrote resonated with me and given the time that I had, I thought that was on aspect that I could put out there and maybe, maybe I gave the audience too much credit,...
Apparently he gave us too much credit for being smart enough to understand what he was trying to say! Again, it's everyone else's fault not his....or maybe it was really the microphones fault!
Bob Costas............I say....Fire him...now...... if the NFL wants their fans continued support.
I highly doubt there are even remotely close to enough people to stop watching football over this, let's be real...

My opinion shouldn't be taken seriously due to the fact that I've been shooting guns for over 30 years and have only recently been active on gun forums, where all the real world knowledge apparently is.
