One of those bizarre things.

I read about this last night, odd indeed. IIRC, it was also said that the employees had handled the weapon and pretty much took away the chances of forensic evidence being gathered.
What a sad way for an 1911 .38 Super to end up. :duh:
I would hope that if cleared by the authorities of being stolen or used in a crime, the finder would keep it.
Let me guess. Swift is a no-guns company and announced it was conducting a search, so someone decided to "stash" his gun in a pile of hamburger?
And I knew there was a reason I don't buy Albertson's meat. 18 mos old?
I'm more concerned with the age of the meat than a gun in the box.

I'm sure the guy had a hard time turning in the gun to police. Hopefully he gets to keep the gun if its just going to sit in an evidence locker.

It was undoubtedly intended for one of the aliens being held in Area 51. The box got mis-shipped to the grocery store instead of the alien detention center!

i thought all food processors ran their products though a metal detector to find stray machine parts?
