Unfortunately, at age 11 he's going to have quite awhile to learn the ropes. The spots he's going to see aren't called "gladiator academy" and "crime school" for nothing.

If his folks have any sense, the little cretin will get a good set of knee pads in the stocking this year ... alongside the lump of coal. Perhaps some big boy in down the hall can teach him some manners.

    +1, agreed.

Though his folks don't appear to have any sense. There's not many things that surprise me anymore, but I can honestly say I was surprised the kid came right up to the camera during the interview with the victim.

He'll either be dead (trying that stuff on the wrong person, whether it be a 'street figure' or law-abiding CCW citizen) or in jail soon. I'm also not so sure his parent's shouldn't join him there either and I hardly ever place blame on parents. Somethings definitely going wrong in that household.

    Pop gets arrested.

In today's news the father of the 11 year old boy was arrested and is the first person to be charged under a Portland city ordinance that holds parents responsible when a gun ends up in the hands of a child.

Wow, what an incredibly sad story. Our world is a screwy place.
