One of my neighbours talked about getting one. I have a thread running here at DC about him telling me he has joined the "club" of Permit Holders.

We have been on the path of bifurcation for some time now, only it is getting worse, not better. There is an element growing in this country that pits poor against rich because of jealousy and covetness, Liberalism against Conservatism because the former places blame on the latter for not "sharing the wealth." Once you divide a population along those lines, the real powers that be will be able to entrench themselves and we will soon be at their mercy.
The Black against white, vice vesa, this one against that one, etc. mentality needs to stop. This is a major cause in why people want to commit crime because they feel "victimized" by the way the media portrays it to be. I have and never will be against anyone just as long as they understand they are not entitled to my stuff and I will have a weapon, a permit and the ability to use it to protect myself from these so-called "victims" of society.

True JoJo, unfortunately.
As for the holders of Florida permits, that number does include out of state holders ..... unfortunately. I wish we had a million holders in this state.

The mere fact that we have to get a permit to excercise our basic right to arms really seems to be unfortunate as well.
