Seems like Mayor Mike Gaskill and Police Chief Todd Stovall are planning on implementing Martial Law in Paragould, Arkansas.

My hometown has Marshall University. We already have "marshall law" there.

All kidding aside, we could see it under the right circumstances however it seems to be unlikely.

We will see Marshall law in 2013...Deputy US Marshall Rayland Givens returns in January with a new season of Justified! While the idea of true Martial law seems ridiculous now...I do wonder if it would be helpful in reducing crime in certain small and contained areas...ie gang turf areas in Chicago

Seems like Mayor Mike Gaskill and Police Chief Todd Stovall are planning on implementing Marshall Law in Paragould, Arkansas.

No there won't be marshall law in '13 - or likely any other time in our, our children, or their children's lives. This is hysteria. Any area that's demanding ID's is either looking for someone, recently had rioting in a town, or is highly illegal and will be ordered by a Court to cease and desist and the Justice Dept will be investigating.

I just read the reason is street crime. That won't fly. You can't use a net against all citizens hoping you get the right fish. Police are paid to investigate - not treat 26,000 people as suspects. They will be ordered to stop that nonsense and go do their jobs.

If I'm out walking about, I don't need to carry nor present an "ID" to an LEO. If he wants to know who I am I can tell him.
