I wasn't there & don't know the circumstances. But I DO know that if any Momma Bear really believes her Baby Bear is in a tight spot, there are truly no laws or repercussions that make...much difference to her actions. With all due respect, we may be falling for the Colorado media's current "OH-MY-GOD, GUN! angle" before we know the nature & extent of the bullying. Don't misunderstand, I'm NOT excusing or justifying Mom's actions. But there have also been recent instances reports in the media of unimaginable acts of school yard "bullying". If a child (or children) had just been seriously injured but similar acts, and that was currently the HOT NEWS topic on every channel, might we be hearing more about the bullying ...and less about the gun?
