Some people just don't get it..

Heard this on the radio today. A woman walking around with a sign hanging from her neck saying, If a child hits another child with a rock we don't give rocks to all the other kids.

Maybe so. But we punish the child throwing rocks. We don't go around the country removing rocks from the ground and then ban them.

If that happened, we would have to remove all rocks from the planet.

Isn't the planet basically a big rock? Lets ban the earth and all go float in space where we can't harm each other without floating off into oblivion.

We don't plan on giving children rocks. We plan on giving teachers the training and weapons they need to fight off gun wielding murderers.

Funny thing is, even kids have enough common sense to know that if they don't want to get hit with a rock, then don't throw theirs...

What's even crazier is the "zero tolerance" policies at the schools that punish the kids for defending themselves against attackers.

She should have been wearing her helmet.

I bet if the first kid who threw that rock realized all the other kids had rocks also, he'd think twice before throwing one. Of course, when you're the only one with a rock, it's easy to be the bully.

If one of those kids is good and the other one is evil, I'd be willing to bet that the evil kid will find and throw the biggest rock he can get his hands on and will be the first one to throw anything.

That analogy took me a few seconds to figure out. Rocks? Kids? What the....ohhhh, I get it! She's being "clever".
