I wonder if any new Police Officers who may have CC permits before joining the Police force will have their names pop up on that list. That can be dangerous to them.

Did you guys know that in most states if you test positive for HIV then your healthcare provider has to send that information to the county or state?

I wonder ... if someone bought a full page ad with all of the owners, editors, and writers .... addresses and phone numbers in it, if they would still feel the same way.

This has nothing to do with gun ownership. It has everything to do with abusing freedom of speech. This newspaper is pandering in the worst kind of yellow press I have witnessed in all my years on this earth. Not only should the general public, gun owners or not, be outraged, the district attorney should be busy trying to see what laws have been broken and bring charges against the individuals who approved such an outrageous act. There are laws against yelling “fire” in a theater. This newspaper has just yelled “fire” in order to sell papers and scare people. This is a shameful act. It is a roadmap to the criminals where to find guns. Someone who has done nothing wrong will be victimized because of this newspaper’s arrogance. The only thing that will come of this is more media fodder when someone is hurt or killed.

The media used to be able to do this in SC too. Thankfully, enough people got mad enough to apply the right pressure and got the law changed a few years ago, so that CWP info is no longer available except to LEO for official needs only.
