A criminal was able to obtain a firearm inside a police station in gun-free zone New Jersey??? There ought to be a law.
The hardest thing to explain is the glaringly evident which everybody had decided not to see.

suicide by cop ? Pray for the injured and those that responded. Just proves making something like having a gun illegal doesn't prevent it. If it did we wouldn't have drunks killking people with their cars and a herion, cocaine, meth, Rx pills problem.

The suspect "obtained a firearm" during the struggle, police sources said. Officers then returned fire, killing the unidentified suspect.
Apparenly he was able to wrench away the service weapon of one of the Police Officers. He didn't "have" a weapon when going inside, but he was able to take one away. Of course he's dead now, thanks to the quick response of other officers. Domestic Violence things are the ones most Law Enforcement Officers hate. They often end up like this.

But sarcastically speaking, if those Cops didn't have those "evil" guns, then none of this would have happend. The guy would still be alive and noboby would have been shot. Life would be rosy and continue.

Hope the officers recover physically and emotionally. Probably saved the court system some time, the taxpayers some money, and ended this guys abusive ways (if that was the case). He chose to play a stupid game and won the grand prize.
