Begs the question though...What do you do with your sidearm, when you must unbuckle your pants and sit down, in a public restroom? I know it's not what anyone likes to do, but sometimes it's imperative. If you leave it in the holster, it's either on the floor, or balancing precariously on the belt that is no longer secured.
I've been in some police stations, and sheriffs offices, where they had holsters safely and securely mounted on the stall walls, so that you could place your pistol there while you took care of your business, and then you'd simply reholster when you completed your task. Other law enforcement office spaces had sturdy shelves installed for this purpose. Haven't seen any of these holsters in my local Walmart.
This is a serious question. How do you folks deal with this?
We have an official restroom thread, that's how we deal with it...

First find a single restroom with a locking door unless you're prairie doggin already. Most convenience stores and small businesses have these. I'd lower pants just below knees, lightly fasten the buckle and hold the rig with your leg tension as you sit down. This keeps it secure, accessible and muzzle down. When you stand back up it's easy to hold it secure until ready to pull it up and shirt tuck etc. Works like a charm. Nothing should ever be hung up, removed, laid on the back of the toilet, sink, floor. People have LEFT their rigs in the bathroom before. I've also heard of people dropping guns and gear in portable pottys and out houses. So keeping all that with your pants at the knees is a good idea where you can see it.
P.S. I'll check out the restroom thread too, LOL

The next thing for a bloomberg ban, coat hooks on stall doors, it’s only a “common sense” rule to prevent such accidents from happening.
