Pizza Hut Delivery Driver Demoted for Defending Himself Against Attackers
Several teenagers attacked a Pizza Hut delivery driver. The delivery driver used a weapon (fiberglass tent pole) to defend himself. The delivery driver allegedly got demoted to a kitchen position, had his hours reduced and had his pay cut because he violated the company's "no weapons policy".

How can a Pizza Hut driver be demoted? Demoted to what? An inside job safe in the store?

I've heard of this before with Pizza Hut. They'll get no money from me.

Their vegetarian pizza is the best thing on their menu. Looks like I have to find another source - Papa John's, maybe.

Driver to Kitchen sounds like a PROmotion for a pizza hut employee.

My son worked for Pizza Hut one summer while in college. Lousy food, lousy pay, crap working conditions and no benefits.

Sounds to me like the tent company should hire him as a Corporate Spokesman.

He should have told Mr. Hut to go pound salt! Those kinds of jobs are a dime a dozen. If he's in it for the tips, he should aspire to be a waiter in a good restaurant.

The Pizza Hut in my city is so bad bulldozing it would be an improvement. The employees there have no idea what customer service is and the product is barely edible. He can do better almost anywhere.

I wonder if the driver had gotten stabbed if Pizza Hut would have given him a raise?
I haven't been to Pizza Hut in years...from back when they fired another driver for defending himself.
