You'll notice from the pictures that the most likely scenario is that the gun didn't just "go off". Specifically the picture with her finger on the trigger as the handgun is pressed against his head.

They look like little gangsta wanna be's that were just too stupid to be unsupervised. From the photo, it looks like she could have taken herself out as well if she were only a little further forward. Now that would have certainly helped with the clorox in the gene pool!

It is not known if the group knew the handgun was loaded.
They certainly figured that out after she discharged it.
