Yet, another testimony for the 2A. Glad she and the kids are ok.

    Quote from the article:

Deputies arrested 32-year-old Atlanta resident Paul Slater in connection with the crime. Chapman said they found him on the ground saying, "Help me. I'm close to dying." Slater was taken to Gwinnett Medical Center for treatment. His condition is unclear, but Chapman said he was shot in the face and neck.

With any luck, he is correct and will expire in the hospital. It would be an excellent time for a medical mistake.

One of the worst places to be is between a momma bear and her kids - thank goodness she didn't need that 6th shot - lol I can almost picture him asking her not to shoot her again! Good for her for having the means to protect her family!

In February, Slater was arrested on simple battery charges, according to the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office. He has been arrested six other times in the county since 2008.
^^^^ This is the big takeaway. What's wrong with this picture?

I totally agree with this is also a problem here as well.

Doesn't sound very threatening at that point to me.

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why I didn't complain when I gave my wife my XD-9, and make sure it's filled with 17 Hollow points.

Six rounds? My wife would have just been getting started.

5 shots to the face and neck and then leaves the scene... Tell me again Obama, how many rounds do I "need" in my magazine.

She is fortunate the intruder was not armed and that he was alone. Good for her though!

Guess we'll have to go with the opinion of the sheriff.
