One thing that bothered me about that video - unless I'm misinterpreting what she said, she's only shot the gun twice at a range? Not enough practice at all.
However, this is one of those stories I love hearing. I also commend her on her wisdom to not fire when his back was turned like she said. Shows she kept her head about her throughout all of it as well.

She did well. But had she stuck that gun over the counter with a felon who'd been around the dance floor previously, holding that gun out there precipitously at arm's length, it's entirely likely she'd have been disarmed and subsequently executed. Close call, there, though likely she doesn't appreciate that.
Time to learn to shoot right through the counter, in such situations.
