I am listening to my scanner and I am hearing a call about a shooter somewhere (not sure where at the moment as I missed that location) and they apparently are still shooting and there are at least 7 victims. Person is using a handgun. SERT (Portland's name for their SWAT team) has been called out.

Ugh....hope it ends quickly with few victims.
So far 5 confirmed casualties (no word on fatalities) but it sounds like there are a few more at least.

I've searched for news sources who would be on scene. Nothing. If you don't know the capabilities of twitter for citizens on the scene reporting, then don't say sarcastic things like that. I can just as well say, just because a guy on here says he hears it on his scanner, doesn't make it true either

Didn't say there were 5 dead. I said 5 casualties, which would mean wounded at least. I continued on to say NO WORD ON FATALITIES. No report on deaths. Now, I can't say why there are no news agencies reporting. I only know what I heard. And, I am keeping an eye out on the news and the Portland Police Bureau Crime Blotter. So, I am sorry that there is no evidence at this point, other than what I heard. I guess I shouldn't have posted about it until there were actual news articles about it somewhere. I will not make that mistake twice.

Most seem focused on either Kelly going to Philly and the woman who got stuck between buildings....
Although, I did find some good stories.

I think it may be good that I haven't seen any news articles about this. The fewer reported, the less chance of panic. But now that I am listening to the SERT channel, I'm wondering if it is actually only a TRAINING EXERCISE. Which would be why no news has come out.

If it's an exercise, that's a relief. Aside from the loss of life I agree with LottoNick, we don't need anything to bolster Oblahblah's position. He gloms onto anything that he can use as ammunition to restrict guns and further his agenda.
