Not surprising, but very little info about the person who subdued the shooter. Had it gone the other way, we have heard about his heroism.

Right after Newtown, BO ridiculed NRA for suggesting Armed Guards in schools & the lame-stream press jumped on the bandwagon. A month later 1/2 the schools in the country are getting guards and Newtown is starting to demand guards. The lame=stream has not changed yet, but you are hearing less bad-mouthing of armed guards from the press. Wonder when they will fully convert?

I don't want to rush to judgement with potentially positive results just as I don't with negative ones, so I will wait until we get more information. However, if it turns out the the armed guard stopped the threat, then that should be shouted from the rooftops by all of those who support the NRA initiative. It would be good to see real-life results support common sense policy.

There must be a mistake. The perp couldn't have had a gun because guns aren't allowed at schools.
