good story, why isn't this all over the news?

I love stories that have a happy ending. Too bad the BG didn't "expire". He'll probably get some time, not learn from this experience, and do it again when he gets out. Just hope the next home owner he attacks is as well prepared as this one was.

It is in Washington. All the major stations are featuring it.

    Why not in the news?
    1. He shot only one BG,
    2. It was justified and legal,
    3. It doesn't meet with "agenda" specs.

Lewis County Sheriff Steve Mansfield said he was happy the homeowner was prepared to protect his family with a gun.
THIS is indeed the proper response. I love a story with a happy ending!

Love that this story is actually getting play on the major stations around here. Love the quote from the Sheriff, too.

Sent from my Motorola on a very tiny keyboard. Awkward autocorrects are not unexpected.

Great coverage and a very good comment by the Sheriff. Shame the good guy did not double tap him.

Thanks for posting this. One more example of good guys with guns. Make sure to post this to Facebook so many can see it. We, the responsible law abiding gun owners have the duty to get things like this out to the mass public, you know most news agencies will not.

    Be safe!

The media did a good job of locally reporting this, and Sheriff Steve Mansfield remarks were A+ imo!! "he was happy the homeowner was prepared to protect his family with a gun"

Bad guy on meth, armed homeowner confronts him with a gun, and he CHARGES him wrestling for the gun AFTER being shot once.

This is what the liberals do not understand. THIS is why you need high capacity magazines, ARs, etc. People today are all hopped up on crazy stuff and they do crazy things. It's not like it was way back when with the lovable town drunk and kids smoking a little grass. This stuff today is like people being possessed by pure evil.
