LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -
Annoyed by people cutting in line, police say a man drew his gun while waiting to buy ammunition on Friday.
The incident happened at Gander Mountain.
Ernesto Vasquez, 51, was arrested around 8 a.m. on charges of aggravated assault.
Is it getting THAT bad...?!? Stupid, just plain stupid.

While it is annoying that those who consider themselves so important or so special that they do not have to wait in line it is not a reason to draw on them.

I guess he will not have to worry about getting ammo anytime soon.

The sad part is this guy may have been (before this) a law abiding citizen caught up in the panic buying scenario that our Government has created. Or ... maybe just a BG trying to stock up. Either way he will have plenty of time to think about what he did.

One less ammo hoarder to worry about.

I cringe whenever something like this happens as it tends to paint all gun people with that brush. It seldom makes the news that we are responsible, intelligent citizens of our respective communities that completely abhor irrational violent behavior, especially when it involves a gun. The MSM performs PR for the anti-gun people; we only have the NRA (thank goodness for them) and are thus severely outnumbered.

Wonder how he thought this was going to help his wait time? What a dumb ass. I also hate to hear these stories, but being human, people are going to make mistakes, and do stupid stuff.
Though the lame stream media will attempt to use it to paint law abiding citizens with that broad brush, it doesn't advance the ball, IMHO.

Probably drunk. Drawing a gun in a line full of people who have a need for ammo, how did he think that would end?

Good, we have to weed out the stupid. They give responsible gun owners a bad name.

Thank goodness that's all he did. Moment of weakness or not, if capable of this he's capable of far greater stupidity.

Annoyed at some folks cutting in line, so he thinks the threat of deadly force is justifiable. It takes all kinds. Another D Block candidate in the making.
Agreed: if he's capable of this, he's capable of far, far greater stupidity.

Lucky he didn't get shot by everybody else waiting in line,That would be considered a deadly threat
