Muggers/murderers at age 10yrs and 15yrs. Parenting failure, learning failure.

At some point, very likely one of them is going to start bragging or get overheard. At some point, I hope they're put away permanently. No excuses.

    Baby shot in stroller !!!!!

Police search for boy suspects in Ga. baby killing - CenturyLink?

This is so messed up I don't even know where to start, this kid needs to go straight to death row but I will be damned if I will ever beg for my life or my child's. I refuse to be a victim and I would have smoked this kids ass like a cheap cigar !! or died trying.

Guys, the death of this child is tragic, but I hope my gut feelings on this is wrong; I get the feeling this woman's story doesn't add up. Like I said, I hope I'm wrong and this woman didn't kill her child and harm herself; I will gladly eat crow with a little brown gravy if I'm wrong.

I saw the story this morning and am horrified. My initial reaction was also skeptical that it was random, because I don't really want to believe in that kind of evil.

It also got me thinking "what if" wise. Would my suspicion have been raised enough when a couple kids came up, asking for money? Did they already have their gun out or did they pull it during the confrontation? Would I have been able to get my weapon out in time?

Thank goodness it looks like my suspicions were wrong and they have now arrested two teens in the attack; I guess it's just such a senseless out of the blue crime that it's hard to swallow.

Yes, it is. Not sure if this is already running.

This is what society is coming to. Degenerate gang-wannabe thugs. People making a living off of welfare and drug dealing and teaching their kids nothing so that they grow up even worse than the generation before them. This kid is supposedly between 10 and 15 years old. If 10 is a possibility, I'm positive he is younger than 15.

This happened just a little south of me, so it has been the news of the day today. 2 teenagers involved. They need to be put down like the animals they are.

It is another reminder why I need to carry everyday. This mom was walking in her own neighborhood & Im sure she never thought she would have to worry about violence so close to her house.

    They got 'em.

Charging the kid as an adult:

I'm normally somewhat jaded when reading about terrible things that happen, but this one is especially disturbing.

"West said she didn’t feel threatened until the boy, who she said had a much younger boy with him, pulled out a gun.
“I thought it was a toy,’’ she said."

I think for many women, myself included, this is where we can really run into trouble. We are less likely to recognize a real threat, not believe what's happening.

The cops need to throw that kid in GenPop and turn their backs for a few hours...Absolutely unbelievable. Agreed re: a reminder to always carry.

Commonly referred to as DATD (drawing against the drop). I don't want to derail this thread, but anyone pondering how they would handle this situation, needs to take the time to research, get the proper training and have a plan for doing so. It is quite likely that in a defensive shooting you will already be behind the 8 ball.
