Ugly, Very Ugly: Kaufman County (TX) DA and Wife Murdered in Home

This is just breaking right now so there isn't much info out yet, the Kaufman County DA was found murdered along with his wife in their home tonight. Kaufman is a county about 30 minutes from Dallas, it is mostly rural but also has a significant meth and white supremacist presence. Two months ago the lead deputy DA was murdered on the street a block from the courthouse. That case is still unsolved. Here's a story for tonight's killings:

Could they have an abundance of drug cases with possible ties stretching back across the border to Mexico?

They don't usually like us Gringos peeing on their parades, and on occasion have been known to take out their aggression on the local officials who represent a threat to their livelihood.

That would be my thoughts also, murder the DAs for locking up their buds.

My prayers to the family. Sad. Not good. Article points to possible Meth/Drug or NAZIs......... but does not substantuate it.

It certainly is possible, but the Aryan Brotherhood is a more likely angle. The Assistant DA that was killed was involved in a joint federal/state/local task force that recently put away several AB members for a very long time. The Mexican cartel presence is more in Dallas, Kaufman is mostly white and rural and meth centric. Also, the cartels don't seem to like to be subtle about their crimes (or anything for that matter), AB seem to be more calculating. One last thing, and this is equally speculative, but they still don't know why the guy who killed the Colorado DOC director was in Texas when he was shot and killed last week after the chase and shootout.

Local station, WFAA, is reporting via Twitter that sources tell them 14 .223 casings were found in the house, DA was shot multiple times, his wife one time. They were found in different parts of the house, it appears that she was killed unsuspecting but he was trying to flee and was chased down and killed. This was not a murder/suicide.

Just theorizing here, but if/when the suspects(s) are identified and if it is connected to either the assistant DA's murder and/or the Colorado prison director's does this go on the FBI's 10 Most Wanted? That person(s) obviously constitutes an extreme danger to the public, if they are convicted here they will get a needle in Huntsville.

...if they are caught here, they very likely will not be convicted here...
...if they live to make it to trial...they'll get a fix they won't come down from...

...we must act swiftly and with no mercy to show the gangs that this won't fly in Texas...I pray that they find and deal with the killers and the ones who sent them quickly...

Wow. Every DA and employee, and their XO, in every DA office in TX needs a CCL and training immediately, if they don't already have one. Clearly carrying at home is a necessity of life.

I'm surprised the DA wasn't packing after his deputy was gunned down in the parking lot. Fatal mistake. He might not have won the fight, but he'd at least have had a chance.

...another sad reminder that we're not safe at home, no matter the neighborhood...we're either within arms' reach of a weapon, or we're defenseless...one kick and no more away from all hell...

IT DOESN'T SAY ANYTHING OF THE SORT. Neither do any of the other articles about this crime. As horrible as it is, adding made up conspiracy crap about Nazi's is not needed.
