In retrospect, after 9/11 they should have pulled box cutters and airplanes from the market.

I think it was just a gesture to show their knowledge of and respect for the bombing and the victims. It's temporary and was nothing more than a wave or a salute. I've got no problem with it. (Really, they aren't trying to keep bombers from getting pressure cookers, so we shouldn't overreact here).

You're blind man! "No one is coming for your pressure cookers". How long have we heard this? Granted no non-chef NEEDS a GOURMET pressure cooker, but it's a slippery slope.

IMO it is an empty gesture. If they wanted to do something they could set up a fund to help those that were injured. This is feel goodism....

Brad426, I've seen many of your posts here and you always strike me as a very reasonable fellow. But in this case I think you're overreacting and misunderstand the motivations of Williams Senoma. However, I think you'll enjoy this photo.

Oh, I'm just messing around, but I agree with Harryball (not a phrase you hear every day) that it's an empty, feel good gesture.

And I always enjoy good crab porn...

So far I've ordered 413 pressure cookers online. Just wait until the store shelves are bare, then we'll see who's crazy!

Pulls pressure cookers from the market, due to political fears? Or due to potential consumer backlash? Or to fears of the asinine courts allowing lawsuits against manufacturers merely because criminals decide to occasionally use such receptacles to hold things besides turnips and beets?

Astounding, that balloon makers don't pull their balloon products off the shelves because some heroin addicts shove quantities of product up their behinds to keep it out of the hands of others, evade detection during their carrying, be more-effective mules when crossing borders, etc. No more balloons!

How about this: no more violent felons, most particularly repeat customers. Get rid of them all. (Where's a big, deserted island when you need one?)

I wonder what the price of Kryton switches is, these days? Can't have too many of those, eh?
