Bravo: At night in the dark missing is typical. Needs a little more training with light and gun and more range time but she has the right attitude.

An incident where a weapon mounted Laser would probably have been beneficial.

Yes, good for her! I bet that guy won't be back soon. He may have run all the way to Idaho by now.

The way I see it, her real mistake was to not follow Tuco's advise.

According to Biden she did it wrong and would have been better off by just firing two rounds of buckshot in the air with her trusty old shotgun.

    Good job.

Good step she's taken, too, to have motion-sensing gear installed outside her place. It's crucial to be forewarned of potential intrusion, to buy us the time we need to respond. She'd likely not have been capable of withstanding the entry/attack if asleep and not waking up. (Duh.)

Another security point is to have windows that have a smaller opening for airflow, but which are otherwise tightly sealed/barred against all but violent entry. And perimeter alarm zones.

Things we should all consider, when evaluating how easy our homes can be penetrated.

Thought you were going to say that she forgot to put her makeup on. :-)
I prepare for the possible that is most likely and not the unlikely simply because it is possible.
