    Who's a good boy? Who's a good booooooy?

This last sentence struck me as funny. Lots of drama until... "It's unclear if he has an attorney."

Well, Good Girl ! She looks happy and spoiled already... she deserves more 'spoilin' now me thinks.

Hope the homeowner keeps his 'boomstick' a little closer at hand from now on.

    From the article:
"I was able to get by him and get to my shotgun".

I am willing to speculate that from now on this man sleeps with both his dog AND his shotgun in the bedroom.

Aw. Spot don't need no stinkin' attorney. His actions speak for themselves, and they're golden.

Kudos to the citizen (and Spot!) for stopping the crime and capturing the perp. "Who's a good boooy," indeed.

I have 3 that would want to eat him. I've heard two loud "bangs" lately in the middle of the night. One was on the back door, which is nearest to my bedroom. I had to laugh about it though.... the dogs seemed 'encouraged' that they might get someone coming into the house..... seems the dogs scared them off though. So, I'm being more alert lately... and the dogs seem to be walking the house a lot during the night..... checking , looking.... and more 'alert' to any suspicious noises at all. ... doing their job.

The perp ought to be charged with 'destruction of property' or vandalism besides burglary
I'm just a spoke in the wheel but not a big deal.

For what ... peeing on the carpet, once caught?

(Yeah, I got it: kicking in the front door/frame.)

Burglary. On an occupied dwelling. Hard to imagine that Attempted Robbery wasn't on the list of charges, too, given the simple reality. In the same way Castle statutes presume intent to violate, brutally kicking down a door ain't the Avon Lady calling. THIS is one of the things we've got to correct, this mollycoddling of miscreants who are making our society a living hell.
