The Kid saved his family by acting quickly and calmly to a situation that could have turned out badly. Of course the media wont pay any attention to this because it invalidates their projections that people can't defend themselves with a firearm. This is a case of a 9 year old kid who shows more courage in one instant then many 30+ year old lawmakers who insist on civilian disarmament.

Quick thinking and very brave for a 9 year old!

I'm actually surprised that he wasn't charged with using a firearm considering it's NYC.
It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Kudos to him! Unfortunately, he was probably expelled from school the next day for talking to his friends about the incident because he said the word "gun".

That was actually the first question I asked my wife when she related this story to me. "Are they charging the kid with possession of an illegal handgun?"

Kudos to the young Man and the parents who have done a good job so far!

This kid is a hero. I liked the side note that said they were not sure how the BG's had the guns with such strict gun laws in NY.
