    Resident shoots robbery suspect

Homeowner hears the doorbell but doesn't see anyone there......

Police: Resident shoots robbery suspect | Georgia News - Home

When officers arrived, they found the suspect near the front door with several gunshot wounds to his back and butt.

Ended good for the homeowner, but I'd be careful going outside if something's 'amiss'.

I hope the "back and butt" shots don't have to be explained.

Yeah, you have to be a heck of a shot to hit someone lunging at you in the back and the butt...

Maybe missed with one shot and the guy spun around? But IMO, the guy wearing a mask would be evidence of bad intent.

If the masked intruder was using his shoulder to break down the victims door I can see the possibility of a lateral (side to side) entry wound. The same deal with the butt shot.

I hope the fact the wounded and masked intruder was indeed wearing the mask thus proving his intent to do the homeowner and victim HARM.
I'm just a spoke in the wheel but not a big deal.

How long does it take one to spin around and go the other way upon seeing a gun? I am sure that is what the BG did, and why he got shot in the back a few times. And if anyone thinks they would never shoot a BG in the back who is running away, wait until you have an adrenaline dump and see how that affects things.
Anti-gunners seem to believe that if we just pass enough laws, we can have utopia. Unfortunately, utopia is NOT one of our choices.

I just love how he is only a suspect yeah busting down a door with a mask on makes him more than a suspect or Alleged Intruder in my book Glad homeowner is OK

Besides the beautiful beaches, one of the best things about Florida is if somebody is trying to rob your home which includes a.) any covered porch or patio b.) your personal vehicle in public - the robber is assumed By LAW to be there to kill you. No explanation needed if the robber is killed. The homeowner is also protected from civil liability BY LAW.

You must be inside at the same time and not trying to protect property outside.

The robber is lucky to be alive and should repent.

Another good example of how it's done. Want to avoid being taken for a felon? Then don't wear a mask and lunge at folks through the doors of their residences.

Prison, hospital or morgue: your choice.

Though, a few holes in his arse might help him see the errors of his ways. The way to this man's heart might well be through his bum. Maybe he'll get the idea, now. He's gonna have awhile to reflect on the whole "repentance" option.

I hope the bad guy has powder burns at his entry wounds.

That would mean that the Homeowner had to shoot him so up close and personal that Homeowner was smelling the bad guys breath.
Like yellow teeth and what he had last eaten close.

And jI wonder just how big was this bad guy that 2 slugs from a 45 did not send him to his Judgement Day?
What have you done to prepare for the end of civilization as we know it?
