Another crime takes place at WalMart

So Friday afternoon it was a guy shooting people with a shotgun in a WalMart parking lot in Greenville, NC; later that night in Jacksonville, FL a 7 year old girl tragically gets abducted in WalMart by a sex offender (her mom should be hosed for for child neglect/naive stupidity) and her body is found Saturday at a church. Her mom will have to live forever with this nightmare due to her lack of brains.

Body of abducted Florida girl found at church | Fox News

Both BG's are in custody...alive...so the crackhead anti-gunners in NYC and abroad can rest easy today knowing that these perps weren't tragic victims of gun violence.

No place is safe anymore--not even a church building--regardless of how many people are there to "help." Be prepared, have good SA, and don't have any kids if you are too negligent to watch out for them and protect them with all reasonable force. For me, that includes/warrants CC, perhaps for others it may not...perhaps OC is good enough to fit their needs.

    It's everywhere these days.

I never go into a Walmart unless I am armed.

And that's how easy it can be.

Lessons for us all: be circumspect; always be suspicious of being picked out by someone, interviewed with potential disastrous ramifications. Always, always, always remain in control of your young children, particularly whenever suggested by strangers your children be parted from you. And stranger-proof your kids. That child should have been screaming bloody murder when being separated from her parent, and certainly the instant "burgers" weren't on the menu (that is, that a getaway van was the order of the day).

It is everywhere, these days. I never go anywhere unless I am armed. Plus, I'm just a suspicious SOB anyway, generally never anything less than heavily circumspect about situations, strangers. Always have been. This lady's comfort with a complete stranger (a healthy, strong single male that was incredibly eager to help; too eager) should've been signs aplenty, particularly with a cute little 8yr old she was responsible for.

Just to qualify my statement - I never go anywhere unarmed except for those places limited by Florida or Federal law.

Walmart has a history of abductions and violent crimes. Especially in the parking lots. Would be abductors see Walmart as an easy target. Basically the 2 dollars you're saving on underwear is partly due(in small part)to walmarts lack of security. How many other big stores do you see that dont have security patrolling the lot? How anybody still shops there is completely baffling. If I could see every walmart burn to the ground in my life I could die feeling just a little better about this country

    1. Some folks do need to save money. For some there are no other big stores to go to and save money.....don't know where you live, but go up to northern NH sometime
    2. I see plenty of big stores that do not have security patrolling the lots
    3. I shop at Walmart...hopefully that does not bother you
    4. Walmarts allow CC, many other Big stores do not....or do you prefer to disarm and trust security in the partking lots?
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”

Walmart allows CC carry, really? They only "allow" it if nobody notices. Thats like saying you allowed a burglar in your house when you werent there. They do not allow guns, period. And the second someone says something youre being escorted outside.

Also small business in NH has been decimated by WalMart in towns that have them, thats why theres nowhere else to shop. I drive by at least 20 empty storefronts when I drive in that direction. Also if you live near a WalMart supercenter, which they just built in my town, your property value is guaranteed to go down 8-15 percent. So I'm fine if you want 2 dollar chinese socks or just enjoy the convenience of buying tampons and gold fish in one trip, but you wont convince me it's good for you community. And look at the way they treat employees. Its disgusting

They default to state laws, if CC is lawful, they allow it.

The responsible parties for the crimes are the criminals, not Walmart. Don't shift the blame. Hold the criminal responsible, not the venue.

This line of thinking is the same as the gun control crowd - "[Smith & Wesson/Ruger/Glock....] has a history of making firearms used in abductions and violent crimes..... If I could see [Smith & Wesson/Ruger/Glock....] factoreis burn to the ground in my life I could die feeling just a little better about this country."

With all due respect, the argument that Walmart is culpable in these crimes does not hold water.

Walmart does not have a policy that they only allow concealed carry if nobody notices. However if somebody notices you're not concealing very well and should look into getting proper instruction on how to actually accomplish the concealed part of concealed carry. For what it is worth Walmart policy is that they follow state law. I know of many people that open carry in Walmart stores on a regular basis.

Your hate and discontent towards the store doesn't change the facts of the issue. Making up rules and regulations doesn't work too well when we've covered Walmart's policies several times on this very forum. I personally went to Walmart today and will probably end up there again in a couple of days. No, they don't have security in the parking lot, but neither does Lowes (which shares a parking lot with them), Kmart, Magic Mart, or Sears. In fact the only place I can think of with security in the parking lot is the hospital. I don't think they'll sell me the coolant and windshield wiper fluid I need for my summer vehicle maintenance this week.
