Good job. Two bad guys out of three, did not fire hundreds of rounds and no family members injured. Local PD should take notice .

But....I thought good guys always wore toe tags?!? And shouldnt the home owner taken a double barrel outside to fire off both barrels? Perhaps "a stern talking to" would have resolved the situation. Or, a rousing choris of "Kumbaya".

Very glad he was able to protect his family and that there are 2 less reprobates running the town. This last sentence has gives me pause...I hope it's just normal procedure and no fault of the homeowner will be found.

I'd bet that's SOP for any shooting.

All shootings in Harris County are referred to the Grand Jury. More than likely no charges will be filed.

    Good job for the Dad

And most shootings have to be cleared by a grand jury

And that is how we do that.

If as reported, it looks like an absolute iron-clad instance of self-defense. Hard to mistake three armed robbers for anything but. Good riddance, on the two in the hole.

Good on the shooter. Those late perps waited too long to turn their lives around.

The protective father and husband, identified as Javier Ortiz, then pulled his own firearm and shot two of the suspected burglars to death, police said. The third suspect ran for his life.

I gotta say, I laughed when I read that. I can just picture that dude scurrying his ass on out of the place after seeing his two "patnas" get shot..
