Too bad the homeowner wasn't a better shot.

I love a story with a happy ending. Range time for the homeowner.

3 out of 4 caught. Not bad. Close to son's home.

2/4. one of the two men that were stopped was the driver. Article said he was released. The other man was arrested with the wounded guy.

Stuff like this really scares me. I wonder if the victim had any type of relationship with one or more of the robbers or if they picked someone's house at random? It just blows my mind that you can be sitting in YOUR home that you have worked your whole life for with YOUR children eating dinner at YOUR table and 4 thugs break in and try to take everything that you have worked for (and possibly your life) because they feel they are more entitled to it than you. I feel that in situations where an innocent person's life is intentionally threatened (which was the case here by breaking in someone's home with weapons) that life in prison be manditory. As far as I'm concerned these thugs and every other one like them in this country should be herded up like the animals they are and forced to live on an island with each other.

Yet another multi-felon home invasion. Seems to be much more the norm, these days.

Kudos on the citizen for being capable of withstanding the crimes. Well done.

Kudos for the police to know the felons would be wanting to get fixed-up after getting shot full of holes.

They did years ago. I think they should refurbish and reopen Alcatraz.

I don't understand why the driver was released. Isn't that aiding and abetting? An accomplice? Something?

If I were the home owner, I'd keep an eye over my shoulder. They may be determined to return for revenge.

That would be stupid. He might get in a little range time and improve his aim.

Well, it would be smart to get more practice... and wise to be prepared for possible revenge...

Lance Thomas' watch shop was hit more than once... and finally, he had to give up due to the "revenge" factor...
