The victim would be wiser to keep the pistol on him, but it worked out in the end!
ĒOne loves to possess arms, though they hope never to have occasion for them.Ē
"Carry your gun - it's a lighter burden than regret."
I don't think we are getting the whole story here. 3 men tried to rob him and he managed to get to his car and grab a gun? If all is legit, I am glad it turned out this way. I love it when the good guys win.
I shoot with a pistol and a Canon. We must all hang together amigos, or we will all hang separately. NRA life member.
I agree...our buy a spare Sticky or Remora and set it between the seat and console. I wear mine appendix in car.
I'd hate to get shot in my museum district. That's has got to hurt!

Getting Old ain't for sissies. ...If you have to fire your weapon you've failed.
America...a Constitutional Republic. NOT a democracy as the liberals would have us believe.
EARTH FIRST...we'll strip mine this planet first then move on to the next world.
"I mean I wish all guns would go away but thatís not gonna happen," said neighbor Mark Arms, who heard the gunshots this morning. "So Iím glad the guy had a gun and was able to protect himself you know."
This guys got some bad luck.. held up at the same location three weeks ago. Glad he's alright and didn't end up shot (with his own gun).Police say the other two suspects continued to struggle with the victim, took his gun away and fled on foot.
"Ignorance may be bliss, but it certainly is not freedom, except in the minds of those who prefer darkness to light and chains to liberty. The more true information we can acquire, the better for our enfranchisement." -- Robert Hugh Benson
The neighbor said "I wish all guns would go away." Obviously spoken by someone who has never been stabbed. I don't want to repeat that experience and I got off easy!
Good for the guy who thwarted the attack he obviously learned from his experience
