    Most excellent.
Less than five hours, our cabin to Ruger manufacturing. I can dig it.

We keep hearing gun/ammo factories are coming to SC. Am hoping to ask our Senators at the tea party meeting Thursday night if they got any info on this yet since Gov. Haley was promoting it. Would love it if they came here too!

Nice area they are moving too, shouldn't be that hot and nice lakes up that way.

I wonder if like the clothing factories they will open a factory seconds store. Drastically reduced prices for a slightly off finish, or mismatched grips or maybe the color is just not right.

I have heard that the FnHerstal factory in Columbia, SC has some sales like that. I have never been to one or seen it advertised.

I only hope those who transfer will leave Conn behind and not insist on building traffic circles everywhere. Glad to see some industry return to the south, other than textiles.

I once stopped in at Penn fishing reels. Thought I'd ask about a factory store. They laughed and told me you'd get a better price from lets say a Cabellas or Bass Pro Shop.

Ya know all we need now is for The Electric Boat Works to tell Connecticut to kiss off and move to a Freedom Lovin' state with a deep water port and start building nuclear Subs somewhere else!!!

Yet another reason to like Sturm Ruger! I can see a "pilgrimage" to NC happening after the factory is built.

Do y'all 'member when Carhartt made those dressy (think real sharp) jackets in mossy green , slate blue and chocolate brown with the $80 price tags?? Listen up to this...

I stroll into Wood's Saw Shop in Woolley one Saturday morning just for giggles and about 5M later I spot the very jackets I'm yakkin' 'bout!! But these puppies were a wee bit different. They had some kinda blemish that would take an Electron Microscope to find and I couldn't and flat didn't care...they were just $40 a pop!!!

Just one teeny weeny prob...they just 2 sizes... too small and TOO LARGE!!
The too big one fits just fine these days figuring I ain't the skinny puppy I was in my 40s I wear it just for dress up and church and the occasional date with a woman (Woman?? What's that? I hearda them...I think Musta been when my hair was blonde and thick... When was that??

Yeah! And an outlet store along I-95 too, maybe one at Pedro's border stop.
