Sprague Avenue (at least a large section of it) is the "Detroit" of Spokane. Always has been the dump of the city.

I thought I saw a story where this guy might be involved in the death of the 89 year-old WWII vet.

    Is that correct?

Sounds like they may want to invest in some trigger locks if he jumped the counter and loaded one of their gunsthen fired it.In pawn shops down here he would have been shot before he got the gun loaded

Maybe they will separate the firearms and ammo in the future, or at least lock up the ammo!!

Or make sure all the employees are armed.

I thought it somewhat strange the heavy LE response at the comment of multiple weapons inside the pawn shop. A-Every pawn shop I've been to guns were unloaded and behind the counter. B-Of the 6 pawn shops I routinely visit none of them SELL AMMO.

The robber will get help for his heroin addiction now. Hopefully his 3 year old son is with family and NOT a ward of the state.
