overnight shooting spree in St. Louis

St. Louis is at it again... 4 separate shooting incidents overnight.... 1 fatality, 2 critical, 5 with lesser wounds. One was an "innocent" passing by in a vehicle, guess that's chalked up as "collateral damage"

I wonder how much of this is the remnants of the BMF drug distribution empire (or competition) raising its ugly head, versus just random crapola.

St Louis has lots of crime - violent crime with a big V. 4 major shootings in one night though is remarkable. Extrapolate that to New York if it had the same violent crime level that night , St Louis with a population of 318,000 and NYC with 8000000, that night of 4 major shootings would have risen to 100 the same night in New York City.

New York which is now the safest of the major 10 cities in the US used to be highly crime-ridden but never even close to that.

We have a few choice areas of St. Louis that you just plain stay away from. The areas involved last night were, for the most part, bad areas. Look at stltoday.com and plug in "cote brilliante" and see how much violent crime was there on any given night.

Why don't we get St. Louis and Chicago to meet in a neutral LIBERAL city and let them see who is best.......

I had to pick up a load at Proctor & Gamble down by the river in St Louis a long time ago. The shipper told me it would be a little bit before they started to load me and if I want I could just drop my wagon at the dock and go and grab something to eat. I backed up to the dock, unhooked and bobtailed to a KFC I had seen on the way in. Imagine my shock when I walked into the restaurant and the whole front counter is blocked off with bullet proof glass, then there was a small slot where you passed your money and received your change and an armored turnstile where you received you meal. After seeing all of that I decided it must be much safer to head back to the shipper before I ate.
